    ABOUT US Founded in 1961, Yves Saint Laurent was the first couture house to introduce the concept of luxury prêt-à-porter in a 1966 collection called ‘Rive Gauche’, synonymous with youth and freedom. This shift represented a first critical step in the modernization of fashion and revolutionized the socio- cultural landscape. In 1999, the luxury goods division of the Kering Group acquired Yves Saint Laurent and, under the creative direction of Anthony Vaccarello since April 2016, continues to position the house at the summit of the luxury universe. Today, Saint Laurent collections include women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, shoes, handbags, small leather goods, jewelry, scarves, ties and eyewear.

    We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst who will report to the Finance Manager as part of our dynamic team in our New Jersey offices.

    ROLE

    This role will support financial reporting, data collection, planning, forecasting, and performance analysis across multiple countries in the Americas region. The position is highly collaborative, working closely with senior finance leadership, cross functional business partners, and the centralized Accounting (R2R) team at Kering.

    MISSION
     

    • Support Saint Laurent Americas including but not limited to: USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Panama, Dominican Republic
    • Actively involved in Forecasting and Budgeting process as well as long term plan of
      • Sales, Margin, Opex of all cost centers
      • Capex, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow
      • Subsequent presentations to worldwide executive team
      • Maintain and enhance forecasting models, ensuring alignment with business assumptions and strategic priorities.
    • Actively involved in Monthly closing process
      • Support and collaborate with the Shared Services Accounting team during the monthly, quarterly and year-end closings
      • Analyze financial performance vs. budget/forecast and explain variances of the financials detailed below
    • Assist in the preparation, and review of monthly Financial Reportings (Regional and HQ):
      • Monthly P&L along with quantitative and qualitative analysis
      • Capex, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow analysis
      • Compilation of management expense reporting
      • Ad hoc reporting
    • Preparation and reporting of (as a backup resource):
      • Daily, Weekly, Monthly and YTD sales across Sales Channels
    • Partner with internal stakeholders and department heads by providing financial results, insights, and analysis during Monthly closings and Budget/Forecast processes.
    • Collaborates in the preparation of Monthly Business Review Presentation for WW Executive team
    • Support management on ad hoc analyses and special projects

    PROFILE

    • Bachelor’s in Finance, Economics, or Accounting; MBA a plus
    • 2+ years in similar role; Retail experience is a plus
    • Technical skills (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, PowerBI, Anaplan, Rubis)

      • Very positive work attitude including willing to work some longer hours during peak periods
    • System savvy and self-motivated to learn new technology and participate in new projects: SAP experience is a plus
    • Understanding of accounting principles and procedures
    • Position is based in New Jersey, days in NY Office as needed

    A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $85,000.00 - $92,000.00 plus bonus eligibility and a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discount/perks and a retirement plan with employer contributions
