From October 2015 to July 2025, Demna designed both men’s and women’s collections as the Artistic Director.

In July 2025, Pierpaolo Piccioli was appointed Creative Director of Balenciaga.

We are currently seeking a Project Officer who will report to Architecture Project Manager as part of our dynamic China team.

Your opportunity

Reporting directly to the Architecture Project Manager China, the right caliber is responsible for effective planning, execution and construction of luxury stores from inception to completion, while ensuring consistency with overall image and standards of the Balenciaga brand in accordance with the corporate guidelines.

How you will contribute

·       Oversee maintenance operations across all retail stores.

·       Ensure robust control over maintenance workflows, quality standards, and project budgets.

·       Collaborate and align with cross functional teams in Mainland China on maintenance schedules and requirements.

·       Act as the liaison between HQ and local vendors for sustainability initiatives; monitor and drive energy optimization and energy-saving improvements at store level.

·       Support the Project Manager / Assistant Project Manager on new projects, including material sourcing, statutory submission documentation and payment administration.

·       Assist Project Manager / Assistant Project Manager in store refurbishment project, partnering closely with APAC regional team and HQ from layout design through to project handover and completion.

·       Capable to lead store closure projects, align returning conditions and timelines with HQ, internal stakeholders and landlords, run tender processes, and oversee end-to-end project delivery until the store is handed over to the landlord.

Who you are?

·       Bachelor degree in Architectural Studies, Interior Design or related disciplines.

·       Minimum 8 years proven project management experience in China, preferably gained in retail and / or shopping mall environment. Prior experience in commercial fit out / decoration project design is advantageous.

·       Good in details and with good problem solving and strong project management skills.

·       Excellent in time management and intense schedule.

·       Resourceful and possess excellent communication skills, good command of both English and Chinese.
