Objective of the role Reporting directly to the General Manager and responsible for setting up and managing the stores according to the company principles and guidelines. Formulate and implement policies, strategies, and business development plans of the store to achieve or exceed sales, profits, and cost objectives.

    How will you contribute?

    • Responsible for P/L for the directly operated retail stores;
    • Prepare annual sales and profit budget for the stores, keep costs under control;
    • Develop and oversee the implementation of strategic initiatives designed to drive growth, profitability, customer satisfaction and operation efficiency and productivity;
    • Achieve sales objectives, and define best corrective actions (both short term and long term);
    • Develop operational standard: in accordance with corporate guidelines to ensure consistency with overall image and service excellence of the brand;
    • Store/customer profile and store potential: based on store typology to ensure adequate and appropriate merchandise strategy in assortment, inventory and feedbacks.
    • Store experience and VM: ensure proper in-store merchandise presentation and brand image;
    • Team oriented: partner with Human Resources Department to build store organization and its continuity; identify resource and to ensure the proper development of people in stores; and the direct involvement into team building;
    • Cross functional: Collaborate with Communications Department in special events to enhance the brand image and sales;
    • Assist the General Manager to develop new business opportunities in both existing locations and new locations;
    • Build good relationships with landlords and developers as well as manage collaboration to develop business further with those partners.
    • Oversee customer engagement initiatives in accordance with corporate guidelines to ensure consistency with overall image and service standard of the brand;
    • Responsible and monitor various KPI; identify opportunity and improvement plan.

    Who you are

    • Minimum 15 years progressive experience of retail operations and brand management in specialty stores or international luxury brand companies, most recently at a senior level of retail department.
    • Possess high level of commercial acumen, self-initiative, strategic and analytical mindset combined with a drive for results.
    • Practical and hands-on experience of China market with a proven track record of effective retail management initiatives and the ability to drive business goals
    • Mature with strong leadership and communicator with a proven track record in leading, inspiring, coaching, developing and succession planning of a large sales team to support the growth of business.
    • Comprehend communication skills and experience in working directly with overseas headquarter.
    • Fair and ethical with unquestionable integrity and have the ability to command respect from fellow colleagues.
