Position Description:
The Retail Excellence Manager, China will report directly to the Retail Director, China and functionally report to Senior Regional Retail Excellence Manager. You will drive Retail performance through Retail Operation and Training functions in the whole territory of Mainland China and be responsible of Retail Excellence related projects/tasks.

Retail Performance
- Develop & implement the overall Retail Excellence initiatives in Mainland China, lead special projects, ensuring consistency and highest service standard of the Maison
- Create, monitor and analyze all relevant KPIs, implement necessary actions with strong focus on boosting sales performance; Assess and develop dedicated action plan and follow-ups for Retail Excellence and Training, that are in line with business strategy
- Work closely with regional function and HQ to monitor retail project implementations and localization
- Work closely with retail team to identify areas of improvement, define dedicated solution and provide necessary support
- Make action plans and follow-ups to drive strong results in terms of mystery shopping
Retail Operation
- Optimize SOP for store daily operation based on the global general guideline, and ensure high level of execution in all stores
- Work closely with internal control team to identify potential risks and make adjustment for improvement
- Work with internal regional team & HQ to monitor retail systems and ensure the smooth function
- Develop a strong service mindset and client culture across the retail network
Training
- Supervise China Training team to promote all training activities, oversee the implementation of training programs to retail staff include storytelling, product and selling techniques (Art of Selling)
- Collaborate with the regional retail excellence team to fine tune and develop training content relevant to the needs of the local market by evaluating ongoing needs and results of training programs.
- Supervise and monitor the local HJ community, design dedicated development plan and strategy to drive up sales growth, profitability and customer satisfaction.
Who you are:
- Minimum 8 years progressive experience in Retail Operation, Retail performance, or Training at international luxury brand companies, most recently at a senior level
- Practical and hands-on experience of China market with a proven track record to drive business goals
- Highly developed interpersonal, with strong verbal and written skills (English and Mandarin) with the ability to communicate clearly, concisely, persuasively and effectively
- Ability to facilitate group discussions, teamwork and make recommendations based on feedback and observations
- Great team player with proven ability to partner with business leaders and develop tactics to achieve sales and the efficient use of resources
- Positive in taking initiatives, result driven, attention to details. Able to work under pressure and in high-paced business environment.
- Problem solving and internal / external customer -focused attitude together with great knowledge of fashion, jewelry trends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Chinese Word Processing and Powerpoint
