Since October 2015, Demna has designed both men’s and women’s collections as the artistic director.     Your opportunity

    S/He sets and further develops the merchandising strategy at regional level to achieve the growth target. Supports the business markets to localize the assortment strategies based on the performance and local needs.

    S/He recruits, onboards and developpes the merchandising team.

    The location is based in Paris Head Office.

    How you will contribute

    • Prepare and guide the Showroom buying sessions to build the most relevant assortment in line with global strategy ;

    • Ensure assortment aligns with local strategies, financial plans, and global initiatives ;

    • Determine category mix by store to ensure most efficient use of sales per square meter and successful client engagement with Retail, Store Planning, and Visual ;

    • Lead inventory planning for best performance of carry over products ;

    • Deliver analysis and feedbacks on sales; develop and drive business strategies to exceed targets and achieve sell thru ;

    • Develop product strategies and analyze competition to increase brand profitability ;

    • Collaborate with Training Team to deliver key messages on products/collections for each season ;

    • Collaborate with retail team to ensure understanding of local market needs by supporting in-store activities, contributing to customer loyalty, and maximizing the retail calendar ;

    • Ensure strong collaboration with cross-functional partners on business opportunities (i.e. Retail, Visual Merchandising, Store Planning, Finance, Client Engagement, etc.) ;

    • Coordinate special projects/events and following-up on ROI (MD calendar, pop-up stores, partnerships, etc.).

    Who you are

    • Able to work cross-functionally within the organization ;

    • Rigorous, and you have a sense of organization and multi-tasking management;

    • You ensure a positive work environment while respecting brand values and behaviours ;

    • A Person with good knowledge of Fashion Industry and market trends and good digital and IT skills, including MS Office ;

    • You understand Sales and Performance KPIs ;

    • Able to prioritize task execution based on business needs ;

    • Strong problem-solving skills ;

    • Oriented Business acumen.
