How you will contribute?
In this role you will work on a variety of Ready-To Wear Product Development-related in an extremely international, creative and fast-pace environment. You will be able to take part of every single steps of development from prototypes launches to industrialization final step.
As a Leather Ready-To-Wear & Denim Product Developer you will:
Partner closely with the design Team in order to understand their vision and concept for the Ready-To-Wear Leather & Denim Collection. Provide technical insights to refine design concepts while maintaining feasibility.
Follow up with suppliers of an assigned part of prototypes of leather and denim garments based on the indications received by the Leather & Denim Product Development Manager; follow-up of planning, deliveries and prices.
Collaborate with pattern makers, sample sewers and other professionals to refine prototypes and ensure they align with the designers’ vision.
Organize and participate in fitting sessions to assess both garment fit and aesthetics, note taking.
Ensure that the final samples are accurately produced following the intended design and respecting the Collection Calendar.
Maintain organized records of design specifications, patterns, trials, samples and production details, updating all the charts and tools.
Data entry and updating our Product Data Management software (PLM): coding all models, filling Bill Of Material with all product information.
Support on collection budget follow up, collection overview/modellario and boards.
Who you are?
Proven experience as a Product Developer within the Fashion industry, preferably luxury and specialized or with a first experience in Ready-To-Wear Leather & Denim.
Experience of managing Product Development calendar and of working closely with manufacturers for development.
Strong knowledge of garment construction, materials, and production processes.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across Teams & Departments.
Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
Market awareness and ability to anticipate consumer preferences.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and projects.
Understanding of cost analysis and budget management.
Familiarity with sustainability practices in fashion is a plus.
Excellent knowledge of Office package, in particular Excel and PLM information system.
Fluent in English and Italian (both written and spoken).
