As Chef de Rang you should demonstrate genuine hospitality and deliver exceptional guest services in the bar area.
Key Accountabilities
- Support the team to consistently meet guest expectations.
- Guarantee the appropriate attention to guest and is able to provide active support when needed
- Help the Head Bartender to planning drink and food service in the bar
- Checking identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase alcohol.
- Adhering to all food safety and quality regulations.
- Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register.
- Maintaining a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment.
- Taking orders and making guests feel taken care of during their time at the bar or event
- The Chef De Rang must assist in other operational functions, including restaurant opening and closing duties, cleaning and clearing tables, and other side duties, e.g., polishing silverware, and filling condiments.
Job Requirements
- Must have experience in Italian bar industry
- Additional international experience and achievements will definitely be a plus
- Adhering to company standards for serving alcoholic beverages
- taking the customer's dishes from the kitchen to the tables.
- Good attitude is a must, proactive and reliable, self-motivated.
- Open-minded and willing to take constructive criticism
- Always looking for improvements in all aspects of the operation and making suggestions
- Must be well aware of HACCP expectations and ensure high standards of hygiene and work methods are met
- Process payment from customers
- Good knowledge about wine and spirits is a must
