GUCCI Product Care Process Engineer (Fixed Term)

Role Mission            

Reporting to the Global Product Care Process Excellence Manager, the Product Care Process Engineer develops system and processes solution for the global supply chain of Gucci After Sales.

He/She will take care of the development and implementation of systems and process improvements within his/her area of responsibility, and support the implementation of more complex projects with impact on various departments. The Product Care Process Engineer works on system and process improvements either on demand or by proactively identifying current areas of improvements, in strong collaboration with the line manager, the team and all the involved departments.

Key Accountabilities

  • identifies improvement areas and criticalities through the proactive analysis of current process and through responding to specific requests coming from other Product Care offices and product care supply chain stakeholders
  • defines detailed solutions to implement process and system improvements in order to pursue the department objectives, starting from simple to growing complexity solutions
  • Guarantees the timely delivery of defined processes and system improvement implementation defining, within the area of responsibility, priorities and deadlines
  • Collaborates with various internal and external stakeholders for solutions definition and implementation, ranging from IT, production business units, product care global and regional offices, with the support of the manager and team
  • Delivers the training for process and system improvement to impacted stakeholders
  • Supports training and communication for complex project implementations in collaboration with manager and the team
  • Supports the product care supply chain system users in the management of processes and use of the system when required
  • In collaboration with IT department and impacted stakeholders, manages all the required product care system improvements

Job requirements:

  • Master’s graduate, preferably in Management Engineering/Software Engineering
  • Good use of MS Office skills (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong problem solver with the ability to analyze cause and effect relationships
  • Interest in business process reengineering and system design
  • Fluency in English and Italian is a must
  • Ability to interact at various organizational levels, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
