    Your Opportunity

    The Small Leather Goods & Accessories Senior Designer is responsible for the creative design and development of men’s and women’s small leather goods & accessories for both Main Collection and Show (wallets, cardholders, coin purses, key holders, document holders, cases, charms, hats, gloves, belts, etc.).
    The role’s primary objective is to define and drive creative concepts, translating brand identity into compelling products through sketches, technical drawings, and visual renderings, while balancing aesthetics, functionality, innovation, and commercial relevance.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead the creative ideation and design of new SLG proposals in line with brand strategy, seasonal concepts, and market trends
    • Define and develop creative concepts, moodboards, and collection presentations
    • Produce technical drawings and detailed design documentation to ensure clear and accurate information flow to Product Development teams
    • Select and define materials, finishes, colors, and technical details (leather, fabrics, metal hardware, closures, stitching, etc.)
    • Act as a key design reference for SLG & accessories, collaborating closely with LG Teams, Product Development, Merchandising, and Production teams to ensure feasibility, quality, and alignment with creative intent
    • Participate in and oversee prototyping and fitting sessions, providing clear design direction
    • Ensure consistent quality control of prototypes and samples, verifying coherence with original designs and brand standards
    • Monitor fashion trends, competitive benchmarks, and market evolution to proactively inform design direction
    • Support and contribute to internal presentations, runway shows, and sales materials when required

    Trend Research & Inspiration

    • Actively contribute to the creative evolution of the SLG category through in-depth trend analysis and cultural research
    • Monitor the market to identify new opportunities, emerging needs, and commercial insights
    • Research and develop inspiration from multiple sources such as vintage markets, suppliers, brand archives, digital platforms, exhibitions, books, and art references

    Design & Creativity

    • Develop high-quality sketches and design proposals aligned with collection inputs and brand aesthetics
    • Propose innovative and original design ideas, pushing creative boundaries while respecting brand DNA
    • Review, refine, and evolve designs in collaboration with the Design Director, ensuring excellence in proportions, materials, colors, and detailing

    Collection Development

    • Ensure clear and effective communication with Product Development teams and Pattern Makers, providing all necessary technical and creative information (proportions, materials, colors, construction details)
    • Closely follow sample development, supporting Product Development by explaining design intent and offering solutions to technical challenges
    • Guarantee, together with the Design Director, accurate sample validation, ensuring that prototypes reflect the original creative vision and that materials and finishes enhance the final product

    Additional Activities

    • When required, participate in fittings, runway preparation, and show setup activities
