Reporting to the Chief Industrial Officer, the Supply Chain Director is responsible for all supply chain processes (demand planning, order management, customer service, distribution and reverse logistics). Operates in a vertically integrated industrial organization, and distribute to all channels: stores, wholesales and e-commerce. Provides excellent service levels to commercial partner from demand planning to distribution, with the aim of reducing time to market and optimizing inventories.
- Coordination of strategic planning activities at global level for all product categories and all markets and definition of assortment efficiency rules in collaboration with Merchandising and Production Management (mix and quantities of products - newness vs carry over) to maximize sales, ensuring alignment between budget and forecast.
- Collaboration with production planning teams to ensure that production capacities and timing of production orders are consistent with market demands and timelines
- Demand management and analysis of market trends to generate accurate forecasting analysis about the quantity of products that can meet the demands of all markets and all sales channels
- Support Merchandising department in reviewing sales forecast, inventory coverage and sales through, suggesting adjustments to avoid lost sales and/or overstock situations
- Management of distribution processes of all categories of products, through the mutual distribution of the central stock on different sales channels, to grant the coverage needed according to different markets’ needs and performance
- Collaborate with regional supply chain and distribution planning teams to ensure integrated management of inventory planning processes and product supply flows, from the distribution centers to regional warehouses
- Optimize reverse logistics processes to improve returns management efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction
- Overseeing a Customer Service experience aligned with Brand standards, maintaining consistency across all touchpoints.
- Definition of the appropriate supply chain strategies in collaboration with the Kering Group to design new processes
- Management of supply chain processes performance monitoring activities, to assess the consistency with product strategies, define and implement key actions for continuous improvement
- Significant experience and knowledge in strategic planning and operations processes at global level
- Preferred retail supply chain experience more than industrial processes experience
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills; connection builder and strong partnership network
- Strong leadership skills, managing and developing teams, directly and indirectly
- 360 business acumen and ability to cross financial and non-financial data to generate insights
- Project Management skills, including strong planning and execution skills
- International experience and strong cultural sensitivity
- Fluency in English and in Italian
- The role involves a high number of stakeholders (internal and external) and requires influencing skills.
- Agility in the approach and in reviewing priorities, in line with the business needs
