    We are currently seeking an Accounts Assistant who will report to the Head of Finance UK, Nordics & Benelux, as part of our dynamic team in London. This is a 12 month fixed term maternity cover role.

    Your opportunity

    The Accounts Assistant will support the Finance team for the daily accounts payable function.

    How you will contribute

    • Actively manage debtor balances, whilst keeping finance systems (SAP) up to date at all times.

    • Following up payment of customer invoices (current and aged) and preparing weekly debtor reports.

    • Conduct credit checks on all customers, establish and manage limits.

    • Reviewing the department finance inbox, ensuring all queries are cleared regularly.

    • Ensure that all vendor invoices are properly recorded, matched with purchase orders, entered correctly in SAP and processed for payment.

    • Prepare cash flow report on regularly basis

    • Assist the finance team during in month end and year end closing process

    • Assist stock controller to manage the stock count and return process

    • Collaborate with the team to prepare payment runs for suppliers

    • Assisting with the year end audit work

    • Ensuring appropriate systems of internal control are maintained and development of and adherence to company procedures

    • Support daily accounting duty and perform ad hoc assignment from time to time as required

    Who you are

    • SAP experience preferred but not essential

    • University degree, accounting preferable

    • Previous experience in the role

    • Good interpersonal skills

    • Highly motivated team player with a positive attitude

    • Strong Excel skills

    • Organised, detail-oriented, self-motivated and able to work under tight deadlines, in a growing environment
