We are looking for a skilled and experienced Legal Counsel to join the Kering Legal Shared Services EMEA team on a temporary basis to cover a maternity leave.
Based in Milan, the role provides legal advice and support to the Brands using the shared services in Italy, ensuring the protection of their projects and assets in close coordination with operational teams.
This position requires strong organizational skills, proactivity, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international, and multicultural environment. A commitment to innovation and a strong sense of responsibility are essential.
How you will contribute
- Provide legal advice, consultancy, and support to various departments (Operations, Procurement, Facility & General Services, etc.).
- Draft, analyze, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts (in Italian and English), including:
- Manufacturing contracts
- Supply and sub-supply contracts
- Machinery purchase contracts
- Procurement and general services contracts
- Support the management of disputes and litigation within the areas of responsibility.
- Conduct legal research, analyze issues, and prepare legal opinions.
- Monitor legal developments and draft internal notes or updates.
- Contribute to training activities.
- Implement legal processes and contract templates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure legal strategies support business objectives.
Who you are
- Law degree.
- Significant in-house legal experience, with a strong background in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
- In-depth knowledge of the Italian legal system.
- Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of internal and external stakeholders;
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain high levels of efficiency and effectiveness under pressure or heavy workloads, managing priorities and deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and project management capabilities.
- Fluency in both Italian and English; knowledge of French is a plus.
