    We are currently seeking a maternity replacement of RTW Sustainable Development Manager with a project manager to support the Lab Director at our Material Innovation Lab (MIL) in Milan.

    Your opportunity

    Joining the Material Innovation Lab (MIL), you will contribute to Kering’s ongoing commitment to redefining luxury through sustainability and innovation. The MIL operates as a shared strategic resource for Kering Houses, acting as an in‑house research and expertise hub dedicated to advancing responsible material choices across collections and supply chains.

    As part of a multidisciplinary team of passionate curators, you will support Kering Houses in identifying and integrating more sustainable textile materials. The scope of the MIL encompasses the continuous development of an up‑to‑date materials library, strategic guidance to embed sustainable materials into products, and technical expertise to define and validate preferred material solutions in line with Kering’s sustainability ambitions.

    This role offers a unique opportunity to operate at the intersection of creativity, supply chain innovation, and environmental responsibility within a leading luxury group.

    How you will contribute

    • Manage MIL projects and ongoing activities focused on the implementation of more sustainable textile solutions across Kering Houses’ collections and supply chains
    • Demonstrate strong planning of multiple priorities, organization, and delegation skills while fostering collaboration within the MIL team
    • Manage relationships with key strategic suppliers and external stakeholders (including program developers, certification bodies, and industry partners) to support project delivery
    • Play a supportive role with the team on projects and activities through effective communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring a smooth flow of information internally and with Kering Houses’ stakeholders

    Contribute to and oversee weekly and monthly activity tracking and reporting for the managed team

    Who you are

    • A passionate advocate for sustainability and sustainable fashion
    • A professional with solid knowledge of textile supply chains and/or the textile industry, and an understanding of the luxury sector
    • A university graduate in engineering, environmental science, business, or a related field
    • An experienced project manager with at least five years of relevant professional experience
    • Highly organized and detail‑oriented, with a rigorous and methodical approach to work
    • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a structured and efficient manner
    • A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast‑paced, international environment and brings a positive, proactive mindset
    • Fluent in Italian and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills; French is considered a plus
