    MCQUEEN Fabric Development Assistant

    How will you contribute?
    Supporting the Fabric development team across all categories; 

    Responsibilities for Atelier:
    •Logging deliveries of fabrics for atelier, fitting and collection.
    •Co-ordinating delivery of fabrics to atelier.
    •Dying fabrics where colour is not available for fitting samples.
    •Working on stock taking carry over atelier fabrics to keep stock levels fluid.

    Responsibilities for special projects and VIP:
    •Working with fabric team to source to V.I.P briefs.
    •Preparing fabric presentation packs to ship to V.I.P’s.
    •Ordering and tracking the delivery of fabric for special projects.
    •Logging and coordinating fabrics between design and atelier.
    •Dying to client spec when needed.

    Responsibilities for Collection Fabric Development:
    •Duplicating colour cards to distribute to Florence, Novara and London teams.
    •Supporting the fabric development team to archive, log fabric collections.
    •Preparing and updating rails and boards for fittings and meetings.
    •Preparing the weekly fabric development re-cap to review with Head of Fabric each week.
    •Raise Purchase orders

    Required Skills:
    •You will be able to demonstrate the desired McQueen behaviours.
    •Previous experience in a similar internship or role within the fashion industry, preferably in a luxury brand environment.
    •Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise competing demands effectively.
    •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build relationships with stakeholders.
    •Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and precision in all tasks.
    •Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
    •A proactive attitude and a willingness to take initiative in problem-solving and process improvement initiatives.
    •An educational background in Textiles/ Textiles degree is desirable
