We are seeking a commercially minded Power BI Specialist to take ownership of our Power BI ecosystem.
This is a hands-on role responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and evolving our existing reporting landscape while developing new data solutions that support strategic decision-making across Retail, Merchandising, Finance, Supply Chain, E-commerce, and Marketing.
The ideal candidate is technically strong, naturally curious, and eager to grow — someone who enjoys both building robust data models and partnering with stakeholders to turn data into meaningful insight.

Power BI Ownership & Governance
Manage and maintain the full Power BI workflow, including data ingestion, modelling, report development, deployment, and monitoring
Administer the Power BI Service environment (workspaces, access control, governance, refresh schedules)
Ensure data security, performance optimisation, and best practices across the reporting landscape
Maintain documentation of datasets, models, and reporting logic
Act as the primary point of contact for all Power BI-related queries and improvements
Data Modelling & Report Development
Design and develop scalable, high-performance data models using best-practice star schema principles
Build intuitive, visually compelling dashboards and reports tailored to different business functions
Write and optimise complex DAX measures and calculations
Ensure consistency and alignment of KPIs across the organisation
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Retail, Finance, Merchandising, Supply Chain, and Digital teams to gather requirements and translate them into reporting solutions
Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations
Support ad hoc analysis and executive reporting needs
Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to automate and streamline reporting processes
Improve data quality and reporting accuracy through collaboration with Data Engineering and IT teams
Stay up to date with new Power BI features and recommend enhancements
Required Skills:
You will be able to demonstrate the desired McQueen behaviours
2–3 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI
Strong experience in data modelling (star schema, relationships, performance optimisation)
Advanced DAX skills
Experience managing Power BI Service (workspaces, gateways, security roles)
Solid SQL skills and understanding of data warehousing concepts
Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to operate independently and manage multiple priorities
Desirable:
Experience in retail, luxury, or consumer goods industries
Familiarity with GCP, or cloud-based data platforms
