McQueen is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to lead labour relations and HR business partnering across France on an initial 6 months fixed term contract. Reporting to the Head of HR for Europe, this role will serve as the primary HR point of contact for the French market, taking full ownership of all employee relations, labour law compliance, and people‑focused initiatives within the region.

As the primary liaison with the French Works Council (Comité Social et Économique – CSE), the role is responsible for ensuring full compliance with statutory obligations. Reporting into the Head of HR for Europe, the role conrtibutes to controlling risks, reinforce organizational culture, and drive consistent people practices across France.
How you will contribute
Employee Relations & Case Management
- Serve as the lead contact for employee relations matters in France, including disciplinary actions, investigations, grievances, and conflict resolution
- Ensure that all associate relations activities are compliant with French labor law, company policy, and ethical standards
- Lead and document thorough internal investigations into associate complaints, regulatory issues, or alleged misconduct
- Maintain accurate and defensible case files; identify systemic issues and recommend preventive measures or policy enhancements
- Provide guidance to managers and HR on employee relations issues
- Prepare and update mandatory social documents and tools (DUERP, BDESE, etc.)
Works Council (CSE) Management
- Manage all aspects of works council (CSE) engagement and relationships
- Prepare, review, and deliver documentation for statutory consultations and information processes
- Coordinate and attend CSE meetings; partner with business and HR to prepare materials, presentations, and responses
- Ensure compliance with applicable deadlines, consultation sequences, and works council obligations under French labor law
Strategic Partnership & Risk Management
- Advise business leaders and HR on employee and labor relations strategies that balance compliance with operational objectives
- Interpret and apply French labor law, EU employment directives, and local regulations to company policies, practices, and HR programs
- Support organizational changes where necessary
- Monitor labor law developments and case law trends; update policies, practices, and training to maintain compliance
HR Operations & Business Partnering
- Partnering with Kering payroll team to ensure teams are paid on time
- Partnering with Business leaders across McQueen France
- Provide regular updates to the business on progress
- Participate in global and regional projects to enhance people practices and compliance standards
Your skills and experience
- Demonstrated experience in managing employee relations (5+ years of Employee Relations gained in either an Employee Relations role or as HRBP)
- Expertise in French labor law, experience in leading Works Council (CSE) meetings and negotiations with unions maintaining a constructive social climate
- Ability to interpret complex legal and policy matters into actionable guidance.
- Interpersonal and relationship‑building skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in high‑stakes contexts. Diplomacy and pragmatism in managing labor relations.
- Comfortable operating in rapid change, maintaining alignment with company values and policies.
- Fluency in French and English.
