Within the worldwide Retail Merchandising department, you will be leading the coordination of Special Projects on a global scale from inception to execution, ensuring the consistency of the assortment and the analysis of the performance of all product categories. You will ensure flowless partnership across HQ and Regions creating synergies between merchandising, clienteling and retail to ensure each project achieves the established sales target.
MISSIONS
PARTNERSHIP WITH REGIONS
Collaborate with Regions to define their yearly calendar, defining key moments and projects ranging from Store Openings, Pop Up Stores, Communication Event, Key Local Events and regional collection previews.
Consistently touchbase with GMMs, regional CFOs and clienteling teams to ensure the yearly strategy remains up to date and define a precise action plan tailored to each special project.
Travel to different regions and key cities to ensure a flowless execution of the main projects, strengthening relationship with regional buying and retail teams.
SPECIAL PROJECTS COORDINATION
Lead partnership across key stakeholders on each Special Project coordinating Regional Buying Teams, Clienteling, VM, Operations and Retail.
Works closely with clienteling and CRM to establish sales target for each project and to ensure brand amplification reaches the correct audience.
Partners consistently with GMMs and regional buying teams to curate dedicated assortments and ensure the right balance between brand representation and volume drivers.
Consistent partnership with HQ VM in building tailored assortments based on project typology, audience, and communication support. Validate the assortment proposal with creative direction to ensure the brand vision is perfectly represented.
Timely recap performances and key facts following each special project.
BUYING CAMPAIGN
Work closely with Merchandise Planning team on the definition of the Special Project budget for each season based on calendar and previous performances.
Manage OTB for each collection to purchase dedicated assortment to support regions in their planned special projects.
Partner closely with supply chain to ensure timely arrival of dedicated assortment based on region calendar and specific local needs.
PROFILE
Level of studies: BAC +5 University/Business School or equivalent with a specialization in Marketing/Merchandising. MBA is a plus
8+ years’ experience in Merchandising, Buying, CRM.
Good knowledge of the market and strong product sensitivity
Appetite for numbers and statistics
Perfct knowledge of computer tools and especially Excel
Fluent in English
Strong analytical skills, rigor, autonomy, and good interpersonal skills
