We are currently seeking a Department Store Sales Vice President, who will report to Head of North America as part based out in New York City office

Your opportunity

As a part of the North America Leadership team, this role will lead the sales and profitability Kering Eyewear Department Store Channel. This seasoned leader will direct a team of account management, and collaborate with merchandising, design, sourcing, customer service as well as wholesale planning.
 

How you will contribute

  • Develop a vision and strategic plan for the Department Store sales organization based on company’s revenue goals, past success, current competitive environment, and future market trend
  • Define KPI’s and sales targets and support drivers to meet/exceed plans across DS channels
  • Evaluate performance to objectives and work with management teams to ensure proper and effective plans are in place to meet sales targets
  • Identify, pitch and manage negotiations for new DS wholesale partners and evaluate relationships with existing partners
  • Build and maintain relationships with current and potential organizations in order to drive sales
  • Manage relationships with DS partners, working with them to build buying plans and to facilitate custom product development
  • Work with demand planners to ensure inventory is available in a timely manner for all DS sales channels
  • Partner with leadership in other functions such as Finance, HR, Sales Operations, and Marketing to ensure 100% compliance in all aspects of business deals
  • Work closely with the marketing team to build compelling campaigns for events, team sales and trade shows
  • Oversee DS North America trade shows & events
  • Define roles and responsibilities, set performance and development goals, motivate and coach team of direct reports, implement training strategies and sales plans that motivate team execution
  • Leading market appointments including business reviews, product presentation & assortment building. Make recommendations based on sales performance and trend.
  • Negotiating financial plans with department stores to ensure alignment with internal goals & budgets
  • Partnering with customer service on full scope of order management to ensure timely allocation & shipping
  • Regular visits to key markets to perform product knowledge seminars; ensure visual merchandising standards, and to promote brand awareness and worldwide strategy
  • Representative of the Kering brand at all times demonstrating professionalism


Who you are

  • In-depth Department Stores knowledge, including but not limited to market knowledge, customer relations and buying/planning & logistics knowledge
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field, MBA is a plus
  • 10+ years’ work experience in luxury fashion goods
  • Strong people-management skills, including mentoring and motivating a team with diverse backgrounds and skill sets
  • Knowledge of P&L execution, ROI, Budgetary Control and Client Relationships
  • Strong knowledge of Retail Mathematical Measurements
  • Sales or data analytics background with a proven track record in women's and/or men's luxury fashion accessories
  • Sound commercial knowledge of the wholesale fashion accessories and lifestyle market
  • Experience building relationships with buyers, divisional management and store operations teams
  • Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multi-task and complete projects
  • Strong communication, presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Management of a large volume of accounts
  • Ability to Travel as needed
