    Job Family Group Description - Sales / Omni-Channel: Combines all positions within the different sales channels: retail, wholesale and e-commerce. Also includes all activities to support store management. Job Family Description -Store Management: Oversees and guides the stores to ensure a unique customer experience. Manages the relationship between clients and sales team. For the customer, this is the visible face of the brand. Sub-Job Family Description - Department/Floor Manager: Manages every operation in the department or on the floor to guarantee a unique customer experience. Collaborates with store manager and assistant store manager in smooth running of operations, loss prevention compliance, human resources management and visual merchandising presentation.

    We are currently seeking a Team Manager to join our Sydney based team.

    Your opportunity

    As the Team Manager, you will lead and inspire your team to create and deliver an unsurpassed luxury service culture in the store. You will lead from the selling floor, where your most time is spent, executing the strategy, and delivering real-time coaching and feedback to achieve business and product category goals. You will develop and grow the people within your team through consistently contributing to the recruitment, retention, and development of the best-in-class talents. You will represent the brand as a Gucci Ambassador by always embodying and promoting the Gucci Values.

    How you will contribute

    Client Experience

    • Lead your team to deliver a world-class, personalised luxury experience for every client
    • Drive clienteling initiatives to build long-term relationships and client loyalty
    • Inspire the team to embody the Gucci selling ceremony and brand values
    • Identify opportunities to grow client engagement through events, product launches, and outreach
    • Resolve client concerns with a focus on strengthening long-term relationships

    Leading People

    • Coach, mentor, and develop Client Advisors through regular feedback and performance conversations
    • Lead daily briefings and foster a highly engaged, motivated team culture
    • Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention of top talent
    • Drive a strong performance culture with clear KPIs and action plans
    • Partner with HR to manage employee relations matters professionally and fairly

    Sales Performance

    • Monitor and analyse sales performance, KPIs, and category results
    • Develop and implement action plans to achieve store and individual targets
    • Partner with Store Management and cross-functional teams to optimise business outcomes
    • Ensure strong product knowledge and competitive awareness within the team

    Running the House

    • Support day-to-day store operations, including rostering, store opening/closing, and stock management
    • Ensure adherence to company policies, health & safety standards, and visual merchandising guidelines
    • Collaborate with internal departments including Merchandising, HR, and Loss Prevention
    • Maintain high standards across both front and back of house

    About you

    • 4+ years of experience in retail management, ideally within luxury or premium environments
    • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
    • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of achieving sales targets
    • Passion for delivering outstanding client experiences
    • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
    • Professional, ethical, and able to influence with credibility
    • Flexible to work a retail schedule, including weekends and public holidays
    • Passion for fashion and a strong understanding of the luxury market
