Your opportunity
As Junior Inventory Accountant, you will report to the Head of Industrial Accounting and you will be in charge of inventory financial valuation for some of our luxury brands.
How you will contribute
Manage accounting warehouses master data and check their correct handling
Understand the process that determines the average value of the items
Check each monthly closure, defining the inventory value, applying the depreciation criteria, and preparing the balance sheet entries to be transferred to the General Account
Prepare and share the monthly reporting for movement and enhancement of the warehouse with each Division
Monitor logistics flows in relation to supplier orders, customer orders and assignments
Prepare with warehouse staff for the physical inventory and align the accounting warehouse with the physical inventory data for cycle counting and end of the year stock take
Keep track of the discrepancies found and send reports to warehouse managers
Supporting brand users involved in the handling and progress of production with ad hoc consultancy activities
Be involved in the preparation and procedures for planning inventories at subcontractors and in the verification of any discrepancies that have emerged and make the related inventory entries
Who you are
You have an high school diploma, a degree in Economics would be a plus
You are an independent, flexible and reliable team player with solid analytical and organizational skills
You are capable to communicate effectively with all levels of internal and external stakeholders
You are an expert in using Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Power Point. The working knowledge of AS400 and Stealth as a plus
You are fluent Italian and you have a good knowledge of English, both written and spoken
