TITLE: Logistics Manager
REPORT TO: Supply Chain Senior Manager
MAIN MISSION
The Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing and driving end-to-end logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, import/export, and distribution, ensuring consistent, smooth, and accurate execution.
The role is expected to evolve the logistics function towards an integrated and omnichannel model, including e-commerce fulfillment and internal logistics optimization, by driving and implementing key initiatives.
This position is accountable for delivering operational excellence while driving transformation, adaptability, and continuous improvement in response to business growth and changing operational requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Logistics Operations Management
-Ensure consistent, smooth, and accurate execution of daily logistics operations
-Oversee all domestic logistics operations (receiving, storage, shipping, and distribution)
-Manage retail distribution, store orders, and deliveries to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment
-Supervise shipping operations to wholesale customers
-Manage and optimize the handling of returns and reverse logistics
-Monitor daily operations, including inspection, packing, and shipment processes
2. Warehouse & Inventory Management
-Ensure and maintain accurate inventory control and stock management
-Plan and execute regular physical inventory counts and cycle counts
-Optimize warehouse organization, storage, and stock accuracy
-Oversee product handling processes including tagging and merchandise control
-Manage procurement and control of warehouse supplies and materials
-Consolidate and validate store requests for logistics-related supplies
3. E-commerce & Omnichannel Fulfillment
-Develop and manage e-commerce fulfillment operations, including direct-to-customer shipments
-Drive fast, accurate, and scalable delivery processes aligned with business growth
-Collaborate with Retail, CRM, and Digital teams to support omnichannel initiatives
-Contribute to the design and implementation of future fulfillment models
4. End-to-End Process Ownership & Optimization
-In close collaboration with relevant teams, oversee, optimize, and drive the execution of end-to-end internal logistics flows, including:
Inter-store transfers
Customer order flows
Repair and after-sales logistics flows
-Drive standardization and optimization across all logistics processes
-Ensure alignment and integration with ERP and logistics systems (e.g., M3, SAP, EDI)
5. Planning, Analytics & Decision-Making
-Monitor logistics KPIs and analyze performance data
-Identify bottlenecks and translate improvement opportunities into concrete action plans and execution
-Develop short- and mid-term logistics and capacity planning
-Assess operational situations and make timely, informed decisions
6. Transformation & Continuous Improvement
-Lead and deliver logistics transformation initiatives (e.g., direct shipment, process digitalization, network optimization)
-Drive process reengineering and workflow optimization
-Demonstrate adaptability in a rapidly changing operational environment
7. Quality Control & Compliance
-Ensure timely and accurate inspection of inbound goods upon receipt
-Ensure returned products from stores and customers are managed in accordance with established processes
-In close collaboration with the Quality Control team, manage the handling and reporting of defective goods
-Maintain compliance with internal standards and external regulatory requirements in partnership with relevant teams
8. Team Management & Stakeholder Coordination
-Lead, coach, and develop the logistics team
-Foster a high-performance and collaborative team environment
-Drive effective communication with internal stakeholders (Retail, Finance, Marketing, Customer Service)
-Manage relationships with external partners (3PL, transportation providers, customs brokers)
-Promote a strong “One Team” culture
9. Other
-Support Import / Export & Customs Management, including
Oversee temporary import/export processes
Coordinate returns to HQ, including quality claims, repairs, and unsellable goods
Ensure full compliance with local regulations and global policies
Oversee receiving and processing of imported goods from HQ and other regions
-Act as a key liaison with HQ, vendors, and external partners for all logistics-related matters
SKILLS REQUIRED Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management
-Strong leadership with experience managing teams and cross-stakeholders
-Strong analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making capability
-Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex situations and act decisively
-High adaptability and flexibility in a fast-evolving environment
-Strong planning and organizational skills
-Experience in e-commerce and/or omnichannel logistics is a strong plus
-Experience in process reengineering or supply chain transformation is preferred
-Business-level English (able to manage communication independently)
-Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, data analysis, etc.)
-Experience with ERP systems (SAP, M3, or equivalent)
