Position summary
-Establish premium and unique positioning of the brand. Increase/ensure brand awareness and customer engagement, through development and implementation of comprehensive product marketing, trade marketing, communication, and digital marketing activations.
Challenges
-development of a comprehensive local branding/communication strategy to accelerate brand elevation with increased relevancy. based on strategic and tactical approach and trust and respect relationship with hq team, build and implement a compelling localized storytelling contents in line with the brand’s core vision.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Development and implementation of:
-Effective communication strategies to promote awareness, relevancy, and desirability to enlarge and strengthen the brand fan base.
-Comprehensive product marketing strategies including sales target setting by pillar, assortment planning, novelty launch activation, product promotion planning based on strategic needs and opportunities.
-Execution of commercial/creative events to ensure product sales/impeccable customer experience to delight customers and deepen emotional connection.
-Close collaborate with CRM team (in retail dept.) to pursue an integrated omnichannel strategy across all funnels, from prospects to existing customers, and enable a seamless customer experience from digital to physical touchpoints.
Budget management
ACTIVITIES OF THE POSITION
-Develop/execute product marketing stratetgies to drive sales of each product category. define and implement promotional/operational actions based on regular/ad-hoc preformance analysis and detected needs.
-Plan and create effective and impactful media exposures to raise awareness and desirability. Measure results by conducting survey, and ensure campaign optimization.
-Identify opportunities and leverage emerging technologies, seek unique and impactful approach, constantly search and try new scheme to promote the brand differently from competitors.
-Develop and Implement effective/attractive approaches(event, digital activations) to potential customers and convert them into our fan. Keep close contact with CRM team and work together for an integrated PCRM strategy, from prospect acquisition to conversion/transformation.
SKILLS REQUIRED
-Proven solid experience as a team leader in communication/marketing field
-Deep understanding of the japanese luxury market
-Deep understanding of marketing and communication principles
-Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
-Ability to proactively adapt to changing market condition and customer needs
-Ability to build and develop a high performing team
-Excellent language and presentation skills
