GUCCI Senior Retail Trainer

Role Mission

Drive the learning and development of the retail population to empower teams to embody Gucci's Italianity, values, and service excellence, ultimately contributing to sustainable business growth. Lead the development and execution of impactful learning strategies and programs across collections, client experience, selling excellence, and people development, while partnering with retail leaders to translate business needs into targeted learning solutions and ensure learning is effectively applied on the sales floor.

Key Accountabilities

• Design and deliver training programs for collections, products, and new joiner onboarding, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and application in stores.
• Design, operate, and lead training programs covering selling skills, Selling Ritual, service excellence, and leadership to enhance retail performance and team capability.
• Lead classroom training operations and support the development, execution, and continuous improvement of training programs and learning initiatives.
• Translate, localize, and develop global training materials and content in alignment with global learning strategies and local business priorities.
• Analyze store-level business needs and performance to develop targeted training and coaching plans that address capability gaps and support business objectives.
• Conduct regular store visits to deliver Spot Coaching and Train-the-Trainer (TTT) sessions, ensuring effective application of learning on the sales floor.
• Develop training plans aligned with retail and training strategies, and lead key training programs from planning through execution.
• Partner with Retail, Merchandising, HR, and other cross-functional stakeholders to operate and lead training projects aligned with business priorities.
• Monitor training effectiveness and incorporate field feedback and business insights to continuously improve training programs and content.

Key Requirements

• Experience in team training and/or one-on-one coaching, including product training and onboarding.
• Strong understanding of retail business and training, with the ability to plan and lead training programs.
• Proficiency in English with the ability to translate and localize global training materials.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Google Sheets for training content and data management.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and take ownership.
• Passion for learning, coaching, and people development, with willingness to travel domestically for store visits and training.
