We are currently looking for a Commercial Controller to join our dynamic finance team based in Milan. Reporting directly to the Commercial Controlling Manager, you will be responsible for managing financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

How you will contribute: 

• Act as the Finance business partner for the Sales organization, serving as the main finance point of contact for all commercial and sales-related topics;

• Lead the consolidation of financial inputs from local Shared Service Centers, Demand Planning and Commercial teams to prepare accurate financial forecasts, budgets and long-term strategic plans;

• Manage the rolling financial sales planning process, ensuring alignment across functions and providing meaningful financial insights to senior leadership;

• Supervise sales reporting activities and ensure consistency and accuracy of commercial financial reporting;

• Lead the monthly commercial and store cost controlling process, partnering with Regional Finance Controllers to analyze variances versus budget and forecast, identify key business drivers, and recommend corrective actions where appropriate;

• Oversee store and commercial cost reporting, ensuring timely and accurate financial information is provided to Finance leadership;

• Prepare and deliver clear financial reports and presentations highlighting monthly commercial performance, key variances, risks, and opportunities for Finance leadership;

• Build strong relationships with Finance, Commercial, Demand Planning and Shared Service teams to facilitate effective communication and cross-functional collaboration;

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of commercial controlling processes, reporting tools and financial planning methodologies;

• Support additional finance projects and ad hoc analysis, as needed.

Who You Are

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field;

• At least 2 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Commercial Controlling, Business Controlling, or a similar finance role;

• Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and accounting principles;

• Experience in sales performance analysis and commercial cost controlling is considered a strong advantage;

• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights;

• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively;

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to senior management;

• Proficiency in financial systems and ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Hyperion) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills;

• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced international environment;

• Fluency in English and Italian; additional languages are a plus.

Gross Annual Salary: Starting from 30.000€ (unless otherwise agreed, in the event of a positive outcome of the selection process, specific levels of experience and autonomy and/or particular competencies emerge during the selection process, based on objective criteria).
