Cristóbal Balenciaga founded the House in 1917 in his home of Spain. In 1937, he established the brand in Paris, designing its collections there until 1968. Cristóbal Balenciaga had a reputation as a couturier of uncompromising standards and was referred to as "the master of us all" by Christian Dior and as “The Couturier of the Couturiers” by Gabrielle Chanel. The ultra-modern shapes were trademarks of the house. While the brand’s identity is firmly rooted in its highly conceptual prêt-à-porter collections, its leather goods, footwear, and accessories experience worldwide success as well. Among the archetypal products of the House are its handbag collections. A new focus on the development of Balenciaga ready-to-wear collections for men was quickly established as highly successful. Since October 2015, Demna has designed both men’s and women’s collections as the artistic director. The Balenciaga House, part of the Kering group since 2001, is one of the most influential names in fashion. We are currently seeking a Assistant Retail Performance Manager who will report to the Head of Retail.

How you will contribute

  • From strategy through execution develop retail implementation and launch tactics. Design principles to create best in class operations standards and compliance practices that support in delivering continued improvement, productivity optimization, and consistent client experience as business operations evolve and increase in complexity.
  • Acquire necessary internal/ external data from all channels to enrich analysis combined with market insight and business result for action plan creation on regular basis.
  • Sales strategy formation for store and individual to anchor big sales and recommend value added activities that will increase individual UPT, promotes cross-selling of categories, increase retention and return rate of client.
  • Collaborate with local and HQ functions in special initiative for in-store activation, well-versed with best practices and sharing with Regional and HQ team.
  • Liaise with Landlord on mall promotion and provide the best scenario for management decision making

Who you are

  • Minimum 4 years progressive experience of Store Operations Management, Retail Analytics, Project Management, KPIs in a luxury company
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, with ability to consolidating large amount of data and information
  • Practical and hands-on experience of HK and Macau market with a proven track record of effective initiative implementation and the ability to drive business goals via strategy business planning
  • Organized, detail-oriented with love of troubleshooting and problem solving and capable of working under pressure and meeting short deadlines
  • Good team player with proven ability to partner with business leaders and develop tactics to achieve sales and contribution objectives and the efficient use of the resources
  • Excellence in communication and presentation skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing
