Reporting to the Visual Merchandising Director, South Asia & Pacific, the Senior Visual Merchandiser, South Asia & Pacific, plays a key role in in the support on all visual merchandising matters within the SA&P region.
Key Accountabilities
Team Management
- Support In-store VMs from daily tasks to City Alliance
- Understand characteristics of every locations nationwide and make sure VM tactics are followed according to local needs
- Create monthly schedule for ISVMs that support to increase work efficiency
- Give constructive feedback on store set-up report done by ISVM prior to Regional VM manager's final review
- Develop and provide the localised training program for VMA to improve the VM standards
- Lead ISVMs in submitting all the report to Regional VM on time
- Give monthly feedback to develop each ISVM's skills and ownership by a regular catch-up call
- Understand the corporate business strategies and cascade necessary information down to all VM team members
Main Windows and Duratrans
Main Window
- Plan and execute each installations of Main window creativity
- Gather merchandise delivery/ availability given by Merchandising team
- Create proposals of products by cooperation with Merchandising team based on Corporate guideline
- Prepare WW’s report and submit the report on time
Duratrans
- Collect product information from Merchandising team
- Prepare Duratrans proposal for Regional VM manger’s review
- Handle image installation with local vendor.
- Collect final installation images from stores and share with Regional VM team
New Store Opening
- Plan and create proposal of VM tool order based on store layout for Regional VM's review
- Discuss with MD and plan VM layout proposal according to product assortment for Regional review
- Participate in opening meetings with relevant departments in making sure that set-up schedule is carried out smoothly
- Plan the set-up schedule with relevant team to ensure the opening set-up is well prepared, and goes smoothly well
- Share the set-up pictures with Regional VM’s review to make sure all the set-up is to be implemented accordingly, prior to WW’s review
Special Events and Pop-up
- Plan and coordinate schedules with CE and Retail teams
- Update the Event calendar with Regional VM managers regularly
- Collaborate to work on the event proposal and plan with local CE, Retail, merchandising team to ensure success of events.
- Oversee the schedule of VM setup and coordinate with Retail and Store team for set-up that goes well smoothly
- Share the setup images with Regional VM manager to ensure the set-up present accordingly
Strong partnership with relevant departments
- Have a regular meeting with Retail/ MD to discuss urgent and current topics
- On-going collaboration with Merchandising team
- Store Openings and Layout Improvement
- Special projects/events
- Support CE Activities
Requirements
Functional
Diploma in a fashion related discipline is preferred but not mandatory
Experienced Visual Merchandiser with a proven background within both a creative and strategic VM role in Luxury market or fashion industry
A proactive candidate who can perform to deadlines within a practical, fast-paced environment
Agile and detail-oriented individual with strong organizational and communication skills
Flexible with working hours and willing to travel extensively for business
Able to contribute both as a team player and through own initiative
Profound use of Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
