The Network Project Manager must have a strong background in information technology with a clear understanding of the challenges of various functions among networking. It requires excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and remediate network issues. To build understanding and awareness of network capabilities throughout the organization, this person must have excellent communication and presentation skills.
This role will interface with Global Operations & Infrastructure team, peers in the Business Solutions and Countries teams, as well as Business units across the APAC region. Good team collaboration skills to develop network solutions jointly with other IT professionals among the teams is a must.
The role is a 6-month contract, cover for an employee on Kering’s Parental Leave, reports to Operations & Infrastructure Director, Asia Pacific.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary responsibility is to be the Kering internal referent at the Group level managing network architecture and issues related to WAN / LAN / WiFi / VoIP / Network Security and as such will need to complete following tasks:
Manage the WAN for all assigned APAC countries, while coordinating closely with the Kering Corporate and external partners to achieve the best results for the Kering group in the region, including the migration, monitoring, troubleshooting and regular maintenance of all sites local in the countries
Responsible to implement and monitor the LAN, WiFi, VoIP in the region in line with the defined standards
Responsible for preparing and the analysis of APAC infrastructure budget related to Network projects and ongoing activities
Engage with different stakeholders across the group to provide support in defining network requirements among the countries; align the technical needs with Global, Regional and country specific goals
Anticipate and articulate issues from the brands and businesses, and work within the organization to provide resolution through effective communication internally & externally
Participate in root cause analysis, report review and process flow design
Responsible for the design and capacity planning for the corporate backbone infrastructure (especially datacenters)
Continuously to provide improvements and solutions to ensure the highest level of availability of our infrastructures
Ensure Level 2 and Level 3 support activities are done as committed
Handle the relationship with carriers and suppliers at the regional level
Willing to work during non-business hours (if necessary) and under pressure
SKILLS, KNOWEDGE & CRITICAL COMPETENCIES
Knowledge of Cisco wireless technology in managing Cisco WLC, Cisco Prime and Meraki in MNC environment
Knowledge in managing Cisco routers as well as L2/L3 switch, Cisco TACAS
Knowledge in Network Monitoring System
Knowledge in DNS/DHCP product such as IPAM
Packet Shaper, Load Balancer and Proxy Server knowledge
Understanding of incident investigations processes and reporting
Strong interpersonal communication skills including active listening, clear writing and speaking, as well as coordination, persuasion, negotiation and social perceptiveness
Strong judgment and decision making skills including critical and analytical thinking, complex issue resolution and troubleshooting skills
Strong collaborative and team coordination skills
Understanding of business requirements, process and practice
Vendor control / management experience
Strong leadership, results-oriented, with good organizational skills
Effective project management capabilities
Innovative problem solving, design and testing skills
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and able to work under pressure. Flexible approach to working hours
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or related field or equivalent in education and experience
Experience in managing network & infrastructure in MNC environment, and mastering analytical tools
Strong experience implementing networking technology including extensive experience with the following: Ethernet, LAN, WAN, WLAN, Firewall, VoIP
Experience in installing, configuring, supporting and managing Cisco network hardware including routers, switches & concentrators, VPN appliances, firewalls, WLC
CCIE, ITIL, PMP, CISSP (Preferred)
