ABOUT SAINT LAURENT Founded in 1961, Yves Saint Laurent was the first couture house to introduce the concept of luxury prêt-à-porter in a 1966 collection called ‘Rive Gauche’, synonymous with youth and freedom. This shift represented a first critical step in the modernization of fashion and revolutionized the socio-cultural landscape. In 1999, the luxury goods division of the Kering Group acquired Yves Saint Laurent and, under the creative direction of Anthony Vaccarello since April 2016, continues to position the house at the summit of the luxury universe. Today, Saint Laurent collections include women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, shoes, handbags, small leather goods, jewelry, scarves, ties and eyewear.

We are currently seeking an Assistant Marketing Manager who will report to the China PR & Communication Manager as part of our dynamic team in China.

ROLE

You will plan and execute all marketing related initiatives to target consumers and to enhance the brand awareness

MISSION

  • Product Marketing / Marketing calendar launch, to be defined with all the departments to align key product launches.
  • Retail Marketing: landlord Wechat/Weibo for holiday, seasonal pushes, retail promotion
  • Advertising: to liaise with regional marketing/advertising for media plan, assist in meeting with publishers and advertising, assist in media strategy including Print and OOH Ads
  • OOH and Landlord In-mall OOH: to coordinate with regional marketing/adv team to support the OOH and to liaise with retail and landlord for landlord OOH
  • Event: to liaise with retail and landlord and agency for store opening event and to assist in retail CRM event, to lead the store opening communication event
  • Special project: to work closely with PR and Digital Marketing team for 360 Native content project
  • Product Marketing: To align with Merchandising, Retail VM to coordinate and allocate resources
  • Business Review and Marketing Report
  • Competitor Event Report

PROFILE

  • Education background: High Diploma or Degree in PR/Marketing/Communication or any other related discipline
  • Must demonstrate exceptional computer skills and software application proficiency such as Excel, Powerpoint, Word, China Word Processing and Photoshop (not top priority, but ideal)
  • Good written and conversational English
  • Attentive to details
  • Work systematically and strong organization skills
  • Good interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Capability to handle multi-tasks
  • Capability to react to changes and ad hoc tasks
  • Ability to work independently
  • Respect dead-line
  • Strong time management skills
