BOTTEGA VENETA EMEA Financial Controller

We are currently seeking a EMEA Financial Controller who will be based in Milano and report to the European Financial Controlling Manager.

How you will contribute

• Support the EMEA controlling and reporting activities, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of financial information across the region.
• Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly management reporting and business performance reviews.
• Collaborate with local finance teams, the Financial Shared Service Centre and Corporate Functions to ensure timely and accurate financial information.
• Support the monthly closing process and preparation of management reporting packages.
• Prepare monthly profit and loss analyses, highlighting variances versus budget, forecast and prior year.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts and long-term planning exercises in line with Group guidelines.
• Consolidate financial information received from countries and departments and ensure data consistency.
• Monitor operating expenses and support budget owners in understanding performance and cost trends.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial analyses to support business decision-making.
• Support internal and external audit requests and assist with statutory reporting requirements.
• Contribute to process improvements, reporting automation and standardization initiatives across the region.

Who you are

• 3/4 years of experience in controlling team or audit firm
• Previous experience in retail controlling for fashion brands is highly appreciated
• Graduated in Business Administration, Management or similar
• Naturally accurate and deadline-oriented
• Collaborative, analytical skills and ability to work well within a team
• Proactive and problem-solving attitude
• Dynamic, stress resistant, reacting fast and willing propose solutions
• Advanced user of MS Office pack
• Advanced knowledge of software SAP and Hyperion is a plus
• Fully fluent in English, read, spoken and written. Proficiency in French is an advantage

Indicative Starting Salary: 35.000€

Variable pay: eligibility to a variable annual bonus linked to the achievement of individual and company objectives, in line with current company policies
