Key Accountabilities
Create the mock-up / first 3D prototype of the footwear starting from the creative sketch
Demonstrate full proficiency in the use of 3D printing technology to:
create volumetric components (e.g. heels, soles, structural or decorative inserts)
verify proportions, overall dimensions, and complex formal solutions
support physical prototyping during the early development stages
Integrate 3D-printed components with manual workmanship to achieve a coherent and readable three-dimensional prototype
Assess the prototype’s aesthetics and volumes (visual balance)
Collaborate with the Shoe Pattern Maker, highlighting any construction issues, feasibility limits, and suggestions for improvement before the CAD and industrialization phase
Requirements
Knowledge of and expertise in the main 3D printing processes and related materials
Experience in using 3D printers applied to shoe prototyping (volumetric components, mock-ups, test parts)
Excellent hand-modeling skills
Strong aesthetic sensitivity and attention to volumes and proportions
Ability to interpret sketches and style directions
Knowledge of pattern-making techniques and construction methods for elegant and sport footwear
Knowledge of 2D CAD is a plus
Accuracy and attention to detail
Teamwork and collaboration
Good knowledge of the English language
Key Challenges
Interpret the creative sketch and anticipate any potential technical execution issues
Facilitate dialogue between the Creative Team and the Technical Area, while respecting quality standards and product development timelines
Salary Package
Gross Annual Salary: 50.000 € (unless otherwise agreed, in the event of a positive outcome of the selection process, should specific levels of experience and autonomy and/or particular competencies emerge during the selection process, based on objective criteria).

Bonuses and Commissions: Annual Target Bonus as per the company-level collective agreement in force, up to 20% of the Gross Annual Salary.
