    Transport Operations Senior Specialist will be responsible for managing end-to-end transport operations, ensuring performance, efficiency, and continuous optimization across global logistics flows.

    Transport Operations Senior Specialist will be part of the Transport Operations team within Supply Chain & Logistics, playing a key role in ensuring efficient and reliable international transport flows across air, ocean, and rail, while supporting performance monitoring, supplier management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

    How you will contribute

    As Transport Operations Senior Specialist, the resource will be responsible for the following activities:

    Manage end-to-end transport flows across air, ocean, and rail, ensuring smooth execution and service continuity;

    Proactively identify and resolve operational disruptions, managing urgent and critical shipments;

    Ensure shipment visibility and on-time delivery performance;

    Use advanced Excel tools (pivot tables, data analysis, reporting) to monitor and track transport performance;

    Maintain and enhance transport dashboards and KPIs, providing analytical insights to support operational and strategic decisions;

    Act as a key interface between global stakeholders (brands, regions, customer service teams), ensuring clear and proactive communication;

    Facilitate alignment on priorities, urgencies, and shipment flows across all parties involved;

    Lead supplier switch and transition activities, ensuring business continuity;

    Support IT integration between suppliers and internal systems;

    Drive new country openings and operational setup;

    Contribute to the implementation of multi-carrier models across key geographies;

    Lead cost optimization initiatives and monitor transport costs, ensuring alignment with budgets;

    Analyze cost drivers, variances, and trends to support decision-making;

    Support validation and application of agreed pricing structures.

    In addition, the resource will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, fostering process optimization and supporting business performance through data-driven analysis.

    Who you are

    Proven former experience in international transport and logistics, preferably in complex and global environments (luxury/fashion is a plus);

    Strong knowledge of air, ocean, and rail transport operations;

    Solid understanding of cost structures, rate mechanisms, and financial drivers;

    Advanced proficiency in Excel (data analysis, pivot tables, reporting);

    Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities;

    Ability to manage urgency within structured processes;

    High level of accountability and ownership;

    Proactive and solution-oriented mindset;

    Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills;

    Fluent in Italian and English (mandatory); additional languages are a plus.

    Indicative starting compensation : 32.5k€

    Annual bonus opportunity according to company internal agreement
