HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
- Collaborate with all relevant stakeholders in order to guarantee group reporting for the scope assigned (full logistics costs north, central and south America)
- Reviewing the month-end closing process and consolidation of the AMER HFM node
- Drive the budgeting and forecasting process in terms of logistics costs for the assigned perimeter
- Preparing reports for monthly Actual, Forecast and Budget cost recharges to local and HQ teams (brands and logistics)
- Recommending changes in policies or procedures that will improve financial performance
- Identifying areas to improve business efficiencies and reduce costs
- Support to local logistics team to maintain a smooth operation from a financial point of view
- Interactions with the local logistics providers (3PL)
- Oversees the contracts, providing and directing procedures to maintain compliance. Negotiate contract terms and conditions, and pricing strategies for bids and proposal.
- Ad-hoc support for logistics projects and analysis (e.g. country-to-country cost analysis…)
WHO YOU ARE
- A university degree in Economics or Management Engineering (additional studies in logistics a plus)
- A controller with at least 8/10 years of experience in a similar role (preferably within a multinational fashion or logistics company)
- Expert in using Microsoft Office, especially Excel, working knowledge of SAP (FI-CO), MicroStrategy, Power Bi and HFM (Oracle) would be a plus
- An analytical person with solid methodological skills
- A detail-oriented person who is able to regularly meet tough deadlines
- A proactive team player who is flexible, adaptable and reliable
- Fluent in English (Italian and French is a plus)
