Your opportunity
You will be an integral part of the Gucci RTW Pattern Making Department, creating patterns according to the pattern making manager’s input and existing measurements charts. This exciting role will allow you to work in production for a top luxury brand and to enhance your pattern making skills even further.
How you will contribute
· Develop production patterns based on the sampling patterns
· Correct pattern defects and prepare the patterns for production
· Carry out all necessary pattern modifications deriving from fittings
· Carefully analyze consumption needs
· Update and maintain datasheets containing all information regarding clothing production
· Oversee and keep pattern archives updated
· Develop and guarantee standard fits in collaboration with the internal technicians
· Continually research new ideas to improve quality and efficiency
Who you are
· A college/university pattern making graduate with 5 years’ experience as a pattern maker
· An expert in the theory and techniques in pattern making
· Well-experienced in using CAD Lectra
· A good knowledge Clo3D will be considerate an advantage
· Highly organized and able to plan efficiently
· A proactive individual with clear initiative
· Proficient in Italian, both written and spoken, and preferably also in English
