Reporting to the Global People Director, the Industrial People Partner supports the Industrial organization within Gucci, with a dedicated focus on the Shoe Business Unit as the main perimeter of responsibility. The role partners with business leaders and teams on people-related priorities across shoe manufacturing, supply chain, and industrial functions, contributing to the implementation of the People strategy while ensuring alignment with business needs, brand values, and a culture of excellence, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement. Within the Shoe Business Unit perimeter, the role supports the development of a sustainable industrial workforce by contributing to talent development, organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and the consistent execution of core People processes in complex and dynamic environments.

    Key Accountabilities

    • Act as a reliable People partner for leaders and teams within the Shoe Business Unit on people, organizational, and employee-related matters.
    • Contribute to translating Shoe Business Unit priorities into HR and talent actions for industrial and manufacturing environments.
    • Support organizational design, workforce planning, and change management activities in collaboration with senior People partners and business stakeholders.
    • Contribute to maintaining a positive, inclusive, and constructive employee relations climate, escalating complex matters when appropriate and working with legal and industrial relations stakeholders when required.
    • Support the execution of end-to-end talent processes, including performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, and development actions.
    • Assist leaders in managing feedback, performance conversations, and people development in a consistent and fair way.
    • Contribute to identifying skill gaps and capability needs within the Shoe Business Unit, including manufacturing, supply chain, and technical functions.
    • Support reskilling and upskilling initiatives aligned with innovation, transformation, and sustainability goals.
    • Ensure consistent application of HR policies, processes, and tools in line with corporate standards and local regulations.
    • Use HR data and people indicators to support analysis, reporting, and informed decision-making.
    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes, supporting efficiency, simplicity, and a strong employee experience.

    Requirements

    • Master’s degree in law/economics/political science/psychology
    • Previous experience as HR Business Partner, People Partner, or HR Specialist, preferably with exposure to business stakeholders.
    • Experience in HR roles within industrial, manufacturing, operations, or complex organizational environments, preferably with exposure to footwear, leather goods, luxury, or fashion industries.
    • Good business understanding and ability to build credibility with leaders and teams.
    • Good knowledge of HR processes, policies, labor law basics, and employee relations principles.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
    • Ability to work in dynamic environments, managing priorities with flexibility and accuracy.
    • Hands-on, pragmatic, collaborative, and people-oriented mindset.
    • Fluency in English (other languages considered a plus, depending on location).

    Gross Annual Salary: 40000€ (unless otherwise agreed, in the event of a positive outcome of the selection process, should specific levels of experience and autonomy and/or particular competencies emerge during the selection process, based on objective criteria).
