GUCCI Senior Women's RTW Product Developer – Outerwear & Formalwear

We are looking for an experienced Senior Women's RTW Product Developer to join the Women's RTW Product Development team, focusing on the Outerwear and Formalwear categories.

Reporting to the Women's RTW Product Development Manager, the successful candidate will manage the product development process from design handover through prototype and sample development, acting as the key point of contact across all functions involved in the product development process.

The role is based in Milan and requires weekly presence at the RTW Atelier in Novara, as well as availability for international business travel when required.

Key Accountabilities

• Manage the end-to-end product development process from design handover to prototype and sample approval.
• Collaborate closely with Design, Merchandising, Pattern Making, Product Engineering and the RTW Atelier throughout the product development process.
• Translate creative concepts into technically feasible luxury garments while preserving the design intent.
• Participate in fit sessions, providing technical expertise and translating fitting outcomes into product development actions.
• Ensure product information and technical specifications are accurately communicated to all relevant functions throughout the development process.
• Manage multiple product developments simultaneously, ensuring collection milestones and deadlines are met.
• Act as the Product Development reference for the assigned categories, ensuring effective cross-functional collaboration throughout the development process.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of Product Development experience within the luxury or premium fashion industry.
• At least 4 years of dedicated experience developing Women's RTW Outerwear and/or Formalwear.
• Strong technical expertise in luxury RTW product development, garment construction and manufacturing processes.
• Proven experience managing the complete Women's RTW product development process, from design handover through prototype and sample approval.
• Excellent planning, organizational and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work autonomously within a cross-functional organization.
• Fluent in Italian and English.
• Availability for weekly travel to Novara and international business travel when required.

Salary Package

• Gross Annual Salary: €55,000 (unless otherwise agreed. In the event of a positive outcome of the selection process, should specific levels of experience and autonomy and/or particular competencies emerge during the selection process, the final salary may be adjusted based on objective criteria).
