    We are currently seeking a Customs Operations Specialist who will report to the Customs Coordinator as part of our dynamic team in Trecate.

    Your opportunity


    You will form an integral part of the Customs Operations Department within the Supply Chain and Logistics Business Unit, managing the Customs Operations procedures for the import and export of goods. You will issue Customs Bills and verify the accompanying documentation. Moreover, you will check the compliant issuing of the outsourced Custom bills, proceeding also to the Customs Operations documentation archiving. This invigorating role will allow you to manage the Customs of our luxury brands.

    How you will contribute

    • Control the correctness of the Customs relevant elements of the invoices, before Customs bills issuing
    • Perform the Customs bills issuing by means of the software Gulliver
    • Transmit the Customs bills to the Agenzia delle Dogane
    • Monitor of the proof of exit from the EU
    • Monitor of the Global Guarantee for EU Transit
    • Upload of the ‘Fascicolo elettronico’, in case of Customs control
    • Update of the software Gulliver for HS codes, Masterdata, exchange rate for foreign currency.
    • Perform Custom instruction for import formalities for the external brokers
    • Create a CSV file for integration with the custom broker
    • Control the correctness of the outsourced Customs bills
    • Archiving of the Custom bills and documents issued
    • Willingness to visit the relevant customs offices to complete the customs formalities relating to export operations, including the submission and validation of certificates (ATR and EUR.1), as well as to provide assistance during customs inspections, audits and other customs clearance activities, as required.

    Who you are

    • A University graduate in Economics, Politic Science, Law and equivalent
    • Spedizioniere Doganale Exam State, Practical training completed with a Spedizioniere Doganale and completed course recognized by Agenzia Dogane, according to art. 27 R. 2447/2015 would be a plus
    • Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken
    • Expert in using Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Knowledge of the software Gulliver would be a plus
    • Highly knowledgeable about EU and Italian Customs regulations
    • Greatly informed about international agreements regarding the origin of goods, worldwide CITES regulation and international trade: Incoterms, Tariff Classification, Customs procedures and licenses needed for import/export
    • Highly knowledgeable about issuing of EX and T2 and about the Agenzia delle Dogane Telematic System
    • Strong experience managing international logistics flows, preferably within cross-border transportation environments, with a solid understanding of related operational processes
    • Proactive and collaborative team player with strong problem-solving skills, able to effectively manage priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

    Indicative starting compensation: 32.000€
