GUCCI Digital Content Specialist

Role Mission The Digital Content Specialist will define the calendar and content for the new Gucci.com, supporting each seasonal collection as part of the cross-functional corporate team – composed by representatives from Marcomm, Digital Merchandising and WW Digital, managing the brand and editorial content on the site. He/she will responsible for content planning execution, ensuring timely delivery, quality rendering across devices, and a visually cohesive experience. Act as liaison between the regional eCommerce and cross-functional corporate team to balance strategical brand objectives and tactical commercial needs.

Key Accountabilities

This position will have these key responsibilities:

  • Set up the content calendar and liaise between regional eCommerce and corporate team on final page templates to be used. This includes various pages on the site including Home Page, Category Pages etc
  • Collect all relevant assets and set up the pages in the CMS
  • Review pages in responsive design to ensure they work across desktop, mobile and tablet. Get regional eCommerce and corporate team’s feedback. Publish on time and with consistency
  • Work with team data analysts to understand impact on business results

    Make template recommendations – both new and improvements to existing designs. Work with User Experience Strategist, Digital Art Director and Functional Analysts on explorations

    Identify where there are successes and how this can be further leveraged throughout the site, as the site has been designed to integrate brand and product storytelling with commerce

  • Identify continuous improvements to the CMS and workflow to ensure increased productivity. Define requirements and communicate with Functional Analysts and eBusiness MIS
  • Participate in setting up sites for new market launches. Test the functionality and review browse path pages

Job Requirements

  • 4 years Digital Experience with focus on content management. Experience with a CMS platform (Hybris WCMS knowledge is considered a plus)
  • Background in Fashion Luxury industry is considered a plus
  • Knowledge of Photoshop is considered a plus
  • Highly organized, able to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced and growing environment
  • Highly motivated and flexible individual with a proven ability to drive projects to successful and timely delivery
  • Customer-centric sensibility
  • Ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels, both internally and externally
  • Positive, enthusiastic, able to take initiative with a can-do attitude
  • Fluency in both Italian and English considered as a must
