We are currently seeking an SAP AMS Release expert to join our team SAP Centre of Expertise team based in Italy. (But with strong links with Paris office)

Your opportunity

KERING has launched a global program for the implementation of a global ERP based on SAP tools for the entire group and its subsidiaries. The objective of this program is to harmonize and simplify Kering's business processes and to simplify the group's information systems landscape.

Within our SAP Expertise Center, the SAP AMS Release expert is responsible for the management of changes throughout the SAP Landscape. Your role will be to drive and enforce SAP Release management guidelines. Thanks to your expertise in dev / basis, you will contribute to the implementation of a robust solution adapted to keep a stabilized landscape for the whole project phases (build, IST, UAT, NRT, production and maintenance phases).

How you will contribute

The scope of this position includes these main missions:

• Implement and orchestrate the delivery process for releases (urgent corrections, monthly and weekly versions, deliveries, etc.) generated by projects and change requests (maintenance activity)
• Plan, prepare and coordinate the deployment of releases in collaboration with other teams (mainly domain managers and project managers)
• Enforce release management guidelines with the overall team members of the SAP CoE, give support and ensure the alignment of the landscape through cut-over & retrofit.
• Establish, maintain and communicate the provisional release schedule (according to projects, stages) and monitor associated deliverables (acceptance reports, etc.)
• Validate and communicate release content and ensure reporting to IT teams and associated communications (system unavailability, refreshes, upgrades, etc.) prior to deployment in each environment (development, integration, acceptance, production, etc.)

Other activities:

• Maintain all the release management tools & processes
• Set up measurement indicators (KPIs)
• Advise teams on the use of release calendar
• You give support to users in case of incident root cause analysis.

• You answer the audit process on a yearly basis

Who you are?

• You have at least 5+ years of expertise on SAP in release management (or basis or an ABAP developer). Knowledge of business process is a plus.

• You have experience in change management on ChaRM & JIRA. Knowledge of Service Now is a plus.

• Excellent English is essential - both written and spoken, Italian and French are a plus given the importance of our sites in Italy in our global organization

• Project experience in an international and multicultural framework is desirable

• You have communication & coordination skills to manage the activities of internal team and subcontractors in offshore teams

• You are customer-oriented and possess: (1) the ability to identify and analyze complex problems and develop solutions to a variety of problems; (2) excellent verbal and written communication skills to accurately document, report and present your analyzes and recommendations; (3) good interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of employees, management and external contacts; The ability to work independently or as part of a team is essential.
