    Your opportunity

    The role is responsible for managing all leather goods product industrialization processes, ensuring compliance with Alexander McQueen timelines, quality and quantity standards.

    Hor will you contribute?

    • Participate in Technical Review meetings with the Design and Merchandising teams to gather requested product modifications, preparing and updating the related technical documentation

    • Assess the technical feasibility of product modifications in collaboration with the LG Pattern Making & Industrialization Manager and external suppliers, coordinating the fine-tuning of both finished products and intermediate manufacturing processes

    • Manage and archive master of finished products and intermediate manufacturing, ensuring they are properly updated and fully traceable

    • Follow up with the Production team to monitor the progress of industrialization activities and ensure models are released to production according to agreed timelines

    • Oversee the progress of industrialization activities, driving corrective actions in the event of delays or critical issues and ensuring alignment among Product Development, Quality, Production and suppliers

    • Manage the requirements, ordering and allocation of accessories, materials, and components necessary for the production of finished product masters and intermediate manufacturing

    • Coordinate all activities related to the production of cutting dies with designated suppliers

    • Define, monitor, and evaluate, in collaboration with the Quality and Product Development teams, the tests required to ensure the quality of the finished product

    • Support the Quality team in the analysis and approval of first production samples

    • Manage and monitor the budget allocated to industrialization activities

    • Prepare, update, and maintain product technical specifications and documentation

    • Produce periodic reports on supplier performance

    Required Skills:

    • You will be able to demonstrate the desired Alexander McQueen behaviours 

    • You have at least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role or in LG Product Development activities

    • Proven capacity to work under pressure and with tight deadlines

    • Fluent in English and Italian

    • Good knowledge of MS Office and particularly MS Excel.  Knowledge of programs like Stealth or PLM is considered a plus

    • Well organized and detail oriented

    • Dynamic, with a problem-solving attitude and capacity to establish positive working relations with colleagues, stakeholders and suppliers

    • Indicative starting salary: 36.207€ (unless otherwise agreed, in the event of a positive outcome of the selection process, specific levels of experience and autonomy and/or particular competencies emerge during the selection process, based on objective criteria)
