ABOUT SAINT LAURENT Founded in 1961, Yves Saint Laurent was the first couture house to introduce the concept of luxury prêt-à-porter in a 1966 collection called ‘Rive Gauche’, synonymous with youth and freedom. This shift represented a first critical step in the modernization of fashion and revolutionized the socio-cultural landscape. In 1999, the luxury goods division of the Kering Group acquired Yves Saint Laurent and, under the creative direction of Anthony Vaccarello since April 2016, continues to position the house at the summit of the luxury universe. Today, Saint Laurent collections include women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, shoes, handbags, small leather goods, jewelry, scarves, ties and eyewear.

ROLE

Within the digital department, she/he will assist the business and merchandising analyst. This internship gives the opportunity to acquire a strong knowledge of various data tools and best practices to develop efficient reports for ecommerce business.

MISSIONS

  • Support the business analyst in the preparation of weekly/monthly standard reports and business review.

  • Participate to the weekly sales certification, verify sales data from GAS and Inventory Control are aligned.

  • Assist with the sales forecast and split by product/by country in collaboration with Finance HQ and Regions.

  • Help design, document system processes.

  • Ad-hoc analysis.

Merchandising

  • Prepare weekly/monthly merchandising analysis, present global digital business in merchandising point of view, (by collection, by point of sales, by collection etc) to the team.

  • Follow up closely the stock level and performance of permanent products in detail

  • Improve current reporting format and propose new reports

  • Help to prepare pre-showroom data analysis, (previous season buys, past season performance etc)

Internship to meet in July 2023.

PROFILE

  • Currently studying in a master’s degree (engineer/ Business School)

  • Previous internship experience in Finance or Business Intelligence/Data analysis

  • Knowledge of data analysis tool such as Tableau, Power BI, Anaplan is a plus (or eager to learn)

  • Analytical thinking and problem solving

  • Fluent in English, French is a plus
