ROLE
This position will serve as a key member within the Saint Laurent EMEA Finance team, reporting to the Finance Director.
The controller will be managing the retail and financial control of one of the sub regional Hub of EMEA, as well as being in charge of some of the transversal activities for EMEA consolidated reportings.
The role will cover retail business analysis for the Hub as well as maintaining full set of account and monthly management reports.
MISSIONS
- Responsible for timely and accurate preparation and submission of financial report packages (P&L, Balance Sheet, Capex and Cash flow) for the allocated Hub;
- Follow up of checks and controls at each consolidation process (I/C flows, margin reconciliation);
- Be in charge of some of the transversal tasks for the EMEA financial reports and consolidation process as assigned;
- Manage the relationship with accounting teams all over the countries of the Hub, through Group Shared Services teams;
- Take part in planning, analysis and prepare for budgeting and forecast;
- Analyze key performance indicator to measure business and operation performance of the Hub;
- Assist the Finance Director in cost controlling, margin analysis and sales plan for the Hub;
- Participate in other Finance initiatives and ad-hoc projects as assigned (audit, compliance projects etc.)
- Support with high reactivity any ad-hoc analysis required by the management and by the General Manager of the Hub
- Assist the COO and the Finance Director in preparing some business plans for new retail projects;
- Be a facilitator for retail operations topics for which other departments would need finance assistance.
PROFILE
- Business School / University graduate in Finance, Accountancy or related disciplines
- Minimum 3-5 years working experience, preferably in luxury retail industry
- Audit or Internal Control experience preferred but not a must
- Proven good communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical mind and good business sense
- Able to proactively take ownership and act with integrity to deliver required result
- Proficient in MS office and, ideally, in Power BI
- Fluent in spoken and written in English
