ROLE
You will be a significant figure who provides both operational and financial support to the China market. He/She supervises the financial processes and is the chief financial spokesperson for the China market. Reporting hierarchically to the General Manager, China and functionally to the Chief Financial Officer, Asia Pacific. His/her area of expertise will be budget management, investment analysis, forecasting needs and the understanding of the current business environment including the organizational structure and current business conditions.
MISSION
Take charge of the full spectrum of the financial control including financial reporting, accounting, budgeting, auditing, taxation and treasury
Prepare forecasts, budgets and other financial planning
Oversee the production of monthly reports including financial and cash flow statements for use by Executive management
Discuss and develop practical KPIs with stakeholders
Undergo comprehensive analysis and provide accurate financial reports in a timely manner
Regularly review the implementation of the group Compliance program across China and coordinates audits
Lead and monitor the daily operation of the Finance Department in China
Provide strategic advice to the General Manager and APAC CFO based on own insights toward the business conditions
Assist in the execution of store expansion with a robust understanding toward the company’s capital and status in the market
Maintain an efficient and effective cost control to ensure the company’s profitability is safeguarded
PROFILE
University Degree in Finance or Accounting
Proven track record in finance management with 5-7 years of experience in a similar role
Experience in the retail industry is a plus
Motivated in facing challenging circumstances
Detail minded with a focus on accuracy
Robust leadership, people management and analytical skills
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Fluent in English (and Mandarin ideally)
