With the appointment of Demna Gvasalia as artistic director of the collections in 2015, he continues to uphold the vision of Cristobal Balenciaga through his exquisite techniques, masterful cuts and by constantly pushing boundaries. Balenciaga offers women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, handbags, shoes, accessories, eyewear and a fragrance for women, subsidiary of Kering. We are currently seeking a Visual Merchandising Intern who will report to the West Coast Regional Visual Merchandising Manager.

YOUR OPPORTUNITY

A visual merchandising intern will help the visual department with weekly in-store visual updates, weekly photos reports & visual mock-ups for future projects.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

  • In store, visual updates with the Visual Director, following brand guidelines.
  • Supporting the visual needs of both retail & wholesale.
  • Updating the weekly visual merchandising photo reports.
  • Working with Visual Director on regional VM projects.
  • Working on visual simulations for upcoming launches and store openings.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Working knowledge of current visual merchandising trends and best practices.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experienced at using Adobe Creative Suite programs, such as Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, or other visual design tools.
  • Able to work out of our Rodeo Drive location & travel to surrounding stores
  • Able to receive academic credit.
