We are currently seeking a RDC Logistics Coordinator who will report to the MEA Warehouse Manager as part of our dynamic team in Dubai.
Mission:
Directly reporting to the Regional MEA Warehouse Manager, the Logistics Coordinator supervises and monitors daily warehouse operations and activities in coordination with 3PL team.
She/He is monitoring the flow of goods, controlling stock levels per brand, and coordinating with the different actors of the Supply Chain. As part of a global logistics and distribution supply chain, she/he is ensuring the application of the WW logistics strategies and processes, strictly connected with local flows.
Measuring performances of the 3PLs as per agreed SLA to satisfy the business needs and support projected growth, play a critical part of her/his role.
Effective communication and coordination with all the partners (brands operational teams, transport team, finance team, 3PL team) to ensure full alignment of logistic operations with the business needs, will be another key duty of the role.
The ideal candidate will have an analytical mindset, always fostering continuous improvement with great autonomy and efficiency, and will have solid IT skills to build reporting and dashboards necessary for the monitoring of the operations; she/he will be well-versed in Logistics and supply chain management principles and practices and will have a customer-oriented approach.
Key Accountabilities:
Monitor daily operations and ensure implementation of best practices in receiving in the warehouse, preparing the orders, and dispatching shipments according to the agreed mapping.
Monitor and ensure the preparation and storage of goods in an effective way according to Kering and brands quality standards
Ensure 3PL performances are meeting expected service levels in term of lead-time, quality & cost
Prepare and Maintain accurate metrics, reports, and process documentation for upper management
Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes
Maintain efficient communication and collaborate with the different departments of the brands, 3PL, Kering for all logistics related matter
Be force of proposition for enhanced processes and logistics solutions. Escalate when necessary
Contribute to the business development by analyzing logistical problems and proposing new solutions
Skills and knowledge:
BSc/BA in business administration, supply chain or logistics management
Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse Operations management, experience within supply chain and fashion luxury industry would be a plus
Excellent English spoken and written; Arabic and Italian/French knowledge would be a plus
IT-savvy with an Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel), good knowledge of BI tools would be a plus
Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills with a pro-active approach in finding out innovative solutions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities with a capability to define priorities when needed
Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
working knowledge of WMS and ERP (SAP knowledge would be a plus)
