Reporting directly to the Store Manager, the Store Operations Manager plays an instrumental role in ensuring the smooth operations of the store(s) in scope. Following strictly to the Corporate operational guidelines, he/she would improve operations performance and execution efficiency by optimising operations management measures, and raise new initiatives, tools and policies.

Key Accountabilities

Operational Guidelines Deployment

  • Ensure in-store implementation of Corporate operations guidelines and regulations policies, across stores
  • Ensure immediate communication with store on opportunities and action plan, with prompt follow-up

Inventory Management

  • Monitor, support the in-store daily inventory management, helping stores improve execution quality and efficiency
  • To control and reduce stock shrinkage
  • Improve inventory accuracy by reducing SKU crossover
  • Improve efficiency of monthly stock take and cycle count processes
  • Order and write off staff uniform in timely manner to keep accuracy of uniform stock

New Store Projects

  • Follow up on new store projects (new store opening, closing, renovation, relocation etc), timely communication various different departments and coordinate rundown plan with complete checklist, to meet project deadlines and standards
  • Prompt adjustments and follow-ups, in case of changes, and ensuring effective communication and alignment across departments

Daily Store Operations

  • Ensure smooth daily operations; follow up and troubleshoot to resolve any pending / arising issues in a timely manner
  • Verify and confirm store applications on uniform, packaging, IT devices etc, and in-charge of operation cost control
  • Place and follow up the order to packaging, client’s refreshment, store stationery and supplies
  • Support the management team to organize report and send paperwork to Finance team, verify and report variance in timely manner
  • Coordinate with Retail Coordinator to ensure the store follows the retail operation guideline and has all equipment to maximize selling opportunities
  • Verify and submit store petty cash expenses to Finance team
  • Any other adhoc tasks relating to in-store operations

Key Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of in-store operational activities in the luxury fashion space
  • Resourceful, organized, with strong follow-up skills
  • Good communication skills and business acumen
  • Analytical, with good problem-solving skills
  • Energetic with positive attitude with cascade new project to store team
