Qeelin is part of the global Luxury group Kering. To cope with business growth, we are currently looking for high caliber with creative mind-set to join us as Corporate Communications Manager (Based in Hong Kong).


Develop the corporate communication plans and assets of Qeelin and ensure proper execution in local markets. Communication activities will encompass Branding and Advertising, Media relations, PR and Events, Sponsoring.

Ultimate goal will be to increase brand awareness and enhance luxury brand equity.


  • Recommend, design and implement annual Communication plans for the brand

  • Assure coordination and synergy between communication activities and leverage all communication channels, in order to create a unified, powerful voice for the brand

  • Formulate communication plans with the most appropriate resource allocation between Advertising, PR, sponsoring etc

Corporate branding:

  • Together with the company Management, recommend a clear brand communication platform and produce the needed related tools (brand texts, iconography etc)

  • Promote outstanding / luxury corporate image through effective media and PR programs

  • Ensure brand consistency is maintained across all channels and communication materials

Advertising and sponsoring:

  • Support the Creative Director and design team as far as creative tools production

  • Advise on media space buying and sponsorship opportunities to maximize the coverage

  • Recommend the most appropriate media mix (print, OOH, digital)

  • Work closely with Creative Director to ensure work is delivered within budget and on schedule

  • Give comments, review and proof read the advertising/sponsoring material

  • Digital Communication: increase share of digital communication in the current mix, develop efficient plans and creative ideas. Support local teams for proper execution.

PR and Media relations:

  • Editorial performance: generate product placement and brand stories (including interviews of Qeelin Management) in key media where the brand is operating (especially in Hong Kong)

  • Increase media presence / visibility by improving relationships with key local and regional media

  • Write-up, circulate and follow-up on press releases and various communication tools

Events organization:

  • Propose the most appropriate events and messages in line with corporate strategies

  • Coordinate execution with local markets and vendors within the planned schedule and budgets

  • Work closely with local market heads to ensure consistent and proper implementation of the global communication strategy at local scale

  • Assist in developing and implementing ATL campaigns and events in support of business partners

  • Control and close monitoring of the Corporate Communication budget and follow-up of local budgets

  • Management of multiple communication suppliers

  • Together with the Corporate Marketing Manager, ensure proposer coordination of various initiatives in line with the product introductions calendar

  • Manage a team of at least 1 staff: ensure clear duties allocation, motivate and track individual performance

  • Reporting to International Marketing Director, to play a key role in the development of communication strategies to support brand development, in line with the company strategic plan


  • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Communication, PR or related disciplines

  • Minimum 8 years relevant experience in luxury retail, with significant experiences at corporate level

  • Thorough understanding of the high-end / luxury goods environment

  • Extensive network of different types of media in the APAC region, notably in Hong Kong

  • Creative, good in details and with good problem solving

  • Strong writer (English and Chinese) with excellent overall communication skills

  • Proactive, able to generate ideas and work independently

  • Desire to work in a fast-paced international environment, with main focus on APAC region

  • Ability to multi task on a daily basis, managing ongoing projects as well as ad-hoc issues that demand immediate attention
