ROLE
You will be responsible for integrating into the Merchandising team with full category scope, work closely with E-Com team to develop online business by optimizing omni channel experience.
MISSION
- Develop and execute business driving initiatives across all department for various E Com platforms.
- Co-planning and co-buying with HQ E Com team to implement the Saint Laurent strategy in China. Maximize sales potential & monitor inventory.
- Close follow up and support E Com development with necessary insights including assortment planning and quick action plans to scale the business.
- Compose quantitative and qualitative reports and provide learnings to maximize omni-channel efficiency for Saint Laurent China.
- Responsible for online platform assortment planning in accordance with respective merchandising strategies set by management
- Plan for and execute buying activities together with HQ E Com team by support both online business & offline store assortment visibility.
- Partner with HQ team on forecasting sales and stock needs by ECom channel
- Monitor sales, inventory, delivery and reorders for online platforms.
- Regularly report to management regarding sales performance, merchandise mix, inventory situations and opportunities, etc.
- Work closely with HQ E com team on diverse projects by collaborating with local Merchandisers to create product assortment and follow up operationally.
- Support local E com on VM selections with both online & offline approach with qualitative comments, and manage other online VM-related operational tasks.
- Closely monitor China local market E com activities and competitors with quantitative and qualitative reports and analysis.
- Stock optimization across channels – within E Com channels and also with Retail DOS partners
- Manage pricing for E Com channels – price changes and systematic checks vs competitors and vs other currencies to maintain competitive pricing strategy for E Com channels
- Elaborate analysis by cross checking sales & customer behavior data to further develop E com business.
PROFILE
- Education background: Bachelor’s Degree
- 4+ years of experience within fashion merchandising and/or Ecommerce functions. Experience with luxury brands a plus.
- E com experience in China market
- Experience in Merchandising
- Excellent planning, analytical & presentation skills
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Good computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Traveling will be required (x4 a year to Paris for the buying sessions)
