We are currently seeking a Junior Merchandiser, WRTW who will report to the WRTW Merchandiser based in our central London offices.
The Women’s RTW, Junior Merchandiser, together with the Women’s Merchandiser will play a key role in supporting our merchandising strategy for the core of the business.
How you will contribute:
Partner with the WRTW Merchandiser to devise the growth strategy for the category and implement strategy co-ordinating with Design, Product development and Commercial teams.
Set up and send out trade reports on the category
Complete the sell in analysis, actively perform sell out analysis for monthly performance and analysis on “Always in Stock” to help the Senior merchandiser defining product cycle life and ad-hoc analysis as needed.
Managing competitor analysis for the category, by interpreting market needs, trends and identify opportunities to enhance the collection.
Suggesting in-season actions to maximize sales and profit opportunities, including VM proposal (on-line and in-store) a well as styling guidelines.
Preparation of training materials that are fit for purpose and suitable for use by our Wholesale, Buying and Retail teams - transmitting depth of product knowledge acquired throughout the development process.
Support throughout the selling campaign, on catalogue management, delivery report, leading the shooting of the sample set.
Establishes and maintains relationships with retail buying team by working closely with Merchandising's role as a strategic support
Partner with cross-functional teams, including Marketing & Communications, PR, Ecommerce, Wholesale, and Visual Merchandising
Your Skills and Experience:
Previous experience in Women’s merchandising
Strong interpersonal skills with sensitive discretion when needed.
Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and keen on learning additional systems
Extensive analytical and numeracy skills.
Flexibility to travel with short notice and to work a demanding schedule which can include on an ad-hoc basis.
Has a passion for luxury industry, with a good sense of product and details and strong understanding of mentioned categories markets
Fluent in English / Italian optional
