We are currently recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator to assist the Head of Operations and Facilities with key operational aspects, to start as soon as possible.
Your Opportunity
This role will be managing the post room at the London office, liaising with variety of people across the business.
How you will contribute:
Responsibility for the logistics function and day to day management of the post room.
Working closely with the Head of Operations & Facilities to improve operational efficiency of the post room.
Oversee the management of the Post Room Assistant.
You will be fully up to date with changes in legislation regarding commodity codes, duty and VAT rates.
Obtaining, checking, and preparing documentation to meet customs requirements for shipping goods outside the UK.
Dealing with customs paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
Liaison with all departments across both Alexander McQueen and MCQ to ensure that they are kept fully informed on progress and delays or issues concerning deliveries.
Escalating any inaccuracies with deliveries efficiently.
Dealing with factories to ensure the delivery process is smooth and organised.
Making sure that accurate records are kept of deliveries, checking invoices and delivery paperwork, compiling reports as required.
Building and managing relationships with courier providers.
Arranging collection and delivery/transfer of goods with 3rd party transport companies to ship the collection to the EU via van.
Assisting the Head of Operations & Facilities to investigate lost or damaged goods putting into place recovery plans.
Your Skills and Experience:
Ability to work in a very fast paced and demanding environment.
Excellent communication skills
Computer skills including Outlook and Microsoft Packages
Ability to prioritise and identify urgent requests.
Highly organised and solution focussed.
Ability to build strong relationships both inside and outside the business
Ability to speak Italian highly beneficial
