We are currently seeking a Vendor Compliance Application Manager who will report to the Head of Production and After Sales Applications as part of our dynamic team in Milan.

Your opportunity

You will work in the Production and Aftersales team, part of the Supply Chain application domain of Kering Tech.

You will be responsible for providing high quality solutions and services related to the applications used for Supplier management across Group Luxury Brands (Risk and compliance, Vendor Rating, Contract management, Sustainability principles, etc.) and for business continuity management. You will identify solid system designs and high-quality solutions to solve business requirements, guaranteeing the due lifecycle of the tools, from evolution to retirement and replacement. You will work closely with various corporate business teams. 

How you will contribute

  • Manage the IT projects related to the Production Supplier management applications (Risk and compliance, Vendor Rating, Contract management, sustainability principles, etc.) and the Business Continuity applications (progress status, addressing risk&issues, planning, budget, vendor mgmt., sourcing management)
  • Manage the end-to-end implementation projects of the entire perimeter: supporting software and vendor selection; collaborating to functional and technical analysis; project planning; testing, validating and upgrading application; managing the relationship with vendors and the related demand & capacity; supervising application maintenance service; decommissioning and replacing systems avoiding risk of obsolescence
  • Support the Head of Production and After sales Application to identify development strategies for the Supplier management applications and suggests roadmap for the application evolution
  • Manage and mitigate constraints, risks and issues, conflict, escalation, negotiations aimed to the normalization and to the recovery of critical, predictable / expected (or not) events
  • Guarantee high quality in the functional and technical analysis based on the solution to be achieved
  • Lead the area and leverage strengths and competencies, monitoring internal and external resources deliverables in project activities and standard maintenance processes
  • Be responsible for application services and related budget (capex and opex for the applications in scope)

Who you are

  • An experienced professional with at least 7 years of IT experiences in large, complex and international companies
  • Highly knowledgeable about supplier management (i.e. risk management, audit, reputation, strategic sourcing, business continuity management)
  • A graduate in Computer Science, Management Information Systems preferred
  • Knowledgeable of BI tools principle and architecture (Qlik or Tableau preferred).
  • You have a natural ability to work collaboratively with others and build good working relationships both with internal and external stakeholders
  • An effective communicator with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Rigorous, autonomous, organized, committed, transparent
  • You have good team management skills and a technical knowledge that will make you a recognized leader on the topics
  • Able to execute tasks in a very dynamic and ever-changing environment
  • Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken; knowledge of French as a plus
